Nine kilometers from the park entrance after passing the Sipan Dam after 300 meters, turn left on the access road that climbs to Buluowan.
The shuttle bus is available to guest for a cost of TWD200, from Huailen train station or airport. Advance booking is required. |

Buluowan 一 Swallow Grotto (0.5 km.) Behind the round theater on the lower terrace, there are stairs leading down to the highway. Near Swallow Grotto, the short descent on this wooded trail makes for a refreshing walk. Upper Terrace Scenic walk (0.3 km) Behind the wooden cabins on the upper terrace, there is a short nature trail through cool bamboo groves. Beautiful plants, birds and insects can be seen here as well as the magnificent strangling fig trees. Briefing room slide shows and the Taroko Handcrafts Exhibit will be present on the visitor center of national park at down terrace. |
